During March to mid April 2016, as many as 45 buildings in South Jakarta were demolished. Those houses, offices, and store-house were controlled due to violate permit.

South Jakarta City Secretary, Desi Putra, admitted his side will intensify control for building violating permit. Through Sub-dept. of City Planning, 200 buildings would be demolished.
"Buildings already sealed will be executed soon," he said, Monday (4/18).

"There are buildings on green lane, commercial, and many more. The raid is held to give wary effect for building owners," he stated.
